The first question. Where can I find xpcom and xpconnect sources
as tarballs?

XPCOM and XPConnect do not have separate tarball packages. You can download the mozilla (seamonkey) tarballs from the mozilla.org FTP site (either the release tarballs or the latest nightly tarball). Because XPCOM/XPConnect depend on NSPR, you will need to build NSPR or use an NSPR binary as well.

Thanks, Benjamin. Can you please point me to the tarballs that I need? I seem not to be able to find seamonkey tarball (with that name) on the FTP site. The latest mozilla source dates back to mozilla-19990128.tar.gz. Is this the latest? I'm hesitant to use the CVS source for production. Also, do you mean that I need to have NSPR tarball seperately apart from the mozilla source?

Thanks for the help.

Ramin
