I want to remove all the GLIB dependency from xpidl. Has anybody started it? Or is there any other consideration in using the glib library?

You have to remove the glib dependency of libIDL for that matter.
I looked into porting libIDL over to nspr for a bit, but it started to get really messy. As glib1 (required by the libIDL we need) has some odd issues with 64 bits, it's not just a simple search and replace. You end up with some really tedious work, which I didn't want to do.
