I want to save screenshots or any image data from the clipboard to a file. Using our own XPCOM wrapped DLL on winXP we get a strange pixel shift. The right side of an image gets cropped by 3 pixels. The cropped part is added to the left.

1) Any ideas where this shift might comming from? The native DLL works fine in other windows applications. The pixel shift occurs on winXP machines only.
2) Is there any build in method to save an image from clipboard data?
