welcome.. i gotta situation as follows: iface x { void methodA(in ifaceB) raises (ifaceCexception); };
such a solution works in most cases but i have no idea why this time it isn't :)

It sounds to me like you are using this method on a thread proxy or from JavaScript, and you do not have the XPT file installed (missing the XPT for either ifaceA or ifaceB will cause the problem).
