I have cross-built mozilla-1.7.3 with the following mipsel-linux toolchain :
- binutils-2.13.2.1 - gcc-3.2.2 - glibc-2.2.5
The XPT test program fails on the target :

Can someone help me finding where to start to fix this ?

It sounds like the mipsel xptcall code is broken. I don't know enough about mipsel to tell if you if it can simply share an existing xptcall port (http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/xpcom/reflect/xptcall/status.html).
