Well, this question concerned my last post about getting the chrome
window given the nsIDOMWindow of the main html document. Your suggestion
was to get the root of the nsIDocShellTreeItem tree, where
nsIDocShellTreeItem is not frozen. It seems to me that there is no other
way.
Btw, I am still having trouble with generating the nsIDocShellTreeItem
header file fro its IDL. Wonder if you have these docshell headers?

It is part of Gecko, but not of the Gecko SDK, because the SDK only
contains frozen headers. Once/If this interface gets frozen, it will get
added to the SDK.
