Hi guys,
I think some of you might be interested of this workaround to install
a XPI package locally (file:// protocol) and maybe from an ftp (ftp://
protocol) on Mozilla 0.9.1
Start the JavaScript console (Task| Tools| JavaScript Console) and type
InstallTrigger.startSoftwareUpdate('file:///drive|/path/pkgname.xpi')
and then evaluate.
Then should appear the familiar dialog and everything should go in the
usual way.
