Is there a list of error codes out there somewhere?

I am trying to write a install.js file to be included in a XPI file - keep
getting errors

    ** initInstall: 0
     ** systemFolder: C:\WINNT\system32\
     ** addDirectory() returned: -208

Is there also code around that describes how to extract the contents of an
XPI file into
a directory WINNT/system32/webterm?

What is the getFolders and / or addDirectory command to do this.  Trying
various formats
in the install.js file but can't seem to get it right - documentation
somewhere. XPInstall API
reference doesn't describe these details.
