Last time I looked (~ September 2003), it seemed as if changing the
Mozilla version (eg new nightly) would lose the version number for
addons, since a new table entry for that Mozilla version was created.
But my current mozver.dat is about a halfyear old even though did change
Mozilla and installed addons numerous times since, so I'm not quite sure
if it is still in use...
