well many househeads like me like to play the "let no man put as under"
sometimes and see those fucking wannabes rushing on the dj-table and
telling that this samples that and that and then you tell them this is
the fukkin original the look on their faces is worth of couple grands..
:) or maybe playing that "badman is robbin" hip-hop tune in below 120
bpm house set - all the young doods come and tell me like this is
sampled from what was it anyway that muthafukkin horrible poptune few
years ago and then you tell them no, this is the original. i just love
it.
yeah, i mean check out any kerri chandler record from last 6 years - he
has always been on the cutting edge, and lately he has started to
release shitloads of stuff. otherwise, guidance has brought quite a lot
good stuff out; and then again numerous artists whose name i can't right
now remember as i've been too broke to buy them (that fuckin 19" monitor
was expensive!)...
