again that's for or from people who see the www as a form of tv. of course
there's no point in trying to read five things at the same time, obviously
they think that web pages are supposed to become like tv channels, so when
you spot something interesting happening on one, you can focus on it.
or maybe the four non-focused channels are for ads...
