Naturally so (I'm not _that_ stupid). The situation back then was that I was 
looking for a new software for running BBS on linux or running RA & Frontdoor 
with dosemu, but that never happened course my second hdd crashed. The other hdd 
wasn't large enough to keep full backup (running linux and dos at the same 
time took all my space) and I didn't had a tape or cdr then.

BTW. running script from cron is pretty much only rational solution for making 
backups on server, unless you are using some backup software (other than cpio, 
tar etc.).
