Here's some stuff about codeplay that i found in a newsgroup:

"I use Visual C++ 6.0 SP5 as the compiler. I compiled it with Intel
C Compiler 5.0 for benchmarking, Intel Compiler made a slower EXE,
maybe the main purpose of ICC is to optimize for floating numbers.
I also compiled the calculator with CodePlay Vector C Compiler,
version 1.1.1, it is almost 30% slower than VC's EXE. Maybe
CodePlay guys are bluffing their compiler's performance."
