Hi, I was trying to encode some costume sounds to mp3. The sound files are for some robotic sound recognition for my project. and has lots of transients. I tried lame and dist for encoding. The two gives entirely different pre- echo characteristics. I have gone through the code of psy modal -2. I could not make out much. I notices one major difference, if any body could explain them it will make my life smooth.
