Hi everybody, First congratulation for your nice work on LAME and your good advises.
In some cases, I would find nice to be able to have the best available quality for a VBR MP3, but based on a pre-determined FINAL SIZE, not on a bitrate : I mean, for example : There is 1 Mb free, I have a Wav file wich is, say, 1 minute & 15 second long. Il would be nice to have a parameter to ask LAME : "Put 1 min 15 on a 1 Mb file with the best available VBR quality". I suppose this is nothing easy to build up, and also that it might well require 2 (or more) passes : not everybody's cup of tea. Well, ... it is just a suggestion.
