Hi,

I have been working on an audio project for the last
week doing some simple audiocassette tape recording
onto hard disk then converting to mp3 or wav using
Audacity 1.0.0 (audacity.sourceforge.net)

I have been using lame 3.88 (beta?) as the MP3 encoder
in Windows, and have recorded about 100 MP3's. I am
wondering if I should switch to use LAME 3.92 on
Windows, and Linux - does it have more bugs/better
quality/more features? Will there be any important
differences between the MP3's encoded with 3.88 and
3.92? Any better/worse compatibility with hardware
and software mp3 players?

Any help/links/explanations would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan
