Howdy sandeep,

I don't understand you, but I think I know what you mean... I tried for a long
time to understand the derivation of the delay constant in the MPEG committee
code (ATT model) and it 'messed' me too.

Well, I no longer really have access to my code, so I can't remember the exact
details, but as I recall, the 768 was completely wrong, and I don't think I ever
came up with either any documentation of why that number was chosen, or a good
reverse engineering of how it was arrived at.

If you grep around in the archive, you may be able to find Mark and/or myself
discussing the numbers we ended up using. If that fails, email me, and I'll
take a look around to see if I can find any of my documentation, but since
ClearBand went out of business six months ago, I may not be able to turn
anything up. Or maybe Mark will help you out?

I can't parse your English, and have never heard of Rangachars, so I'm afraid I
can't help here.

Hope that helps,
Alex
