Hey everybody,
I got a small question. Does anyone know whether
there is a limit of the amount of data which can be written in the table of
contents of a CD?
Because I burned a CD with a lot of MP3's and when
it was nearly finished, still 1% to do (writing TOC), it crashed.
I also read a story from someone who told about a
Panasonic DVD player which is not compatible with Lame recorded in normal
stereo. And after he encoded the MP3's in joint stereo the problem was
gone.
Well, I got the same problem with an Mp3 / CD
discman of Samsung, the MCD-SM55. When I play MP3's in stereo I hear a strange
noice in the right ear, no matter what bitrate I use. After I tried Joint stereo
the problem has also gone with me.
I didn't try a converter based on an other technic
then Lame yet, but I think it's the combination of Lame and Stereo. Are there
maybe other people who experienced this?
Bye,
Michel
