Hi, I was sampling few mp3 encoders on the web and downloaded MusicMatch JukeBox, after my friend's recommendation. On a PIII 1GHz machine, when encoding from a .wav file, it gave 24.5x speed !!!. I was just blown off. In our news group, people were talking about "possbility of real time encoding performance" as recently as July,02. I am curious to see possibilites of how to extract that kind of performance. Any thoughts ? regards, Ramesh
