As I said a few days ago, COMMAND.COM really has *NO* way to redirect stderr. At all. It's totally impossible. It's even worse than csh. Thanks for enlightening me about CMD.EXE, though. It's nice to know these things, even if I'll never use them personally. I'd write a patch to fix it so that --help goes to stdout, but I can't get to the CVS on sourceforge right now.
