mpglib as distributed with lame isn't mpg123. It may be the case that an
actual mpglib is more closer to mpg123 than previous versions, but the
version included in lame differs much from mpg123.

Do you want write access to the CVS of HIP? I think we can arrange this.

Sounds good.

It has to have support for the mp3 analyzer in lame (mp3x). If it
doesn't have such support, it can't replace mpglib.
