Why don't you transfer the vector from real space to k-space. I've spent almost 4 months as your question. Please check a solid state physics book and you see the reciprocal lattice. when you chek it, set the vector a1,a2,a3 as a1 = ((sqrt 3)/2 , 0.5, 0) a2 = ((sqrt 3)/2 , -0.5, 0) a3 = ( 0, 0, c) then b1 = (1/(sqrt3), 1, 0) b2 = (1/(sqrt3), -1, 0) b3 = this is not important.
