Dear All, Using Ubuntu 10.10, I have encountered an issue while running the Data Analysis tutorial: i.e - tri-rods.ctl >& tri-rods.out It appears using the precompiled packages for Ubuntu, the software failed to output any other files other than tri-rods.out
There is no problem for this software if I was running it under Debian 6. What I did was to install the MPB package for ubuntu by running sudo apt-get install mpb then to remove the mpb: sudo apt-get remove mpb Subsequently, I installed the mpb package for Debian manually by downloading the package from the Debian repository and running dpkg -i <name of package>.deb The *.h5 files began to output. I am not sure whether this applies for other non-debian based linux distribution as well, but I hope similar steps could be used for other distributions.
