Dear mpb-users,
I defined a 2D triangular lattice PCW with first rows ring-shaped and second
rows vertically shifted. In the band diagram, I observed that the parts of the
bands couple to each other at their intersection point, therefore there are
some excess guided bands and the field distribution of the guided odd mode does
not seem guided. How can I understand the accuracy of the upper guided band and
the onset of extended modes?
Any help is appreciated.
