The key thing is that the ctl file itself is not an executable file, so
there is no compiler or similar for it. You can use any text editing
software to do so, although I would recommend one with support for
scheme syntax. (I personally use n++, but many other alternatives exist).
Once you havbe created the ctl file you can run it in your
Linux/Mac?Unix terminal using the mpb command (or one of its variants,
e.g. mpb-split):
mpb <your_control_file> > <your_output_file>
e.g. In the example below I have a control file called example.ctl and
want my output to go to example.out
mpb example.ctl > example.out

Hi I am facing trouble in using MPB. I am new with this software and I am
unable to understand the ctl file and where to form it and how to run the
code. I read the manual too. It describes the various examples but still
nothing is clear about how to execute them. Please help me understand where
to begin from.
