I compiled MPD 0.18.10 for *Windows *follow this repo: https://bitbucket.org/dkrjuchkov/mpd-build After i start the MPD 0.18.10 binary on Windows 7, it can play audio files without problem, but can not be controlled by mpc or any other clients. (You may ask how i do that without clients control? I used the old but official MPD 0.17.4 windows binary to play audio file first, then i stop the MPD service manually, then i start the NEW compiled 0.18.10 MPD in the command line, the sound comes out with no problem.) I am sure that MPD was runing on the default 6600 port. (By running: *netstat -ano|findstr 6600* in the command line to check the process id) All the commands sent from *mpc* or other clients will prompt: *error: Timeout*. How can i get rid of this?
