I think mpd behaves correctly in this instance. I have tags in a single file like: PERFORMER = Kenny Loggins PERFORMER = Jim Messina I would want all of those indexed (there may be more than two). This is especially important with jazz where on a single album there will be some songs where all performers are playing, or some random mix of performers.
