That would force you to load the core modules before you load the
peripheral ones, but it won't prevent you from forgetting to load the
peripheral ones. My script also does other nice things, like making
sure the microcode is in the expected location before trying to load the
modules. Sanity checks like this belong out in user space, not in
kernel space.
