Guys, thanks for sending me a firmware file!
When loading the kfir module, I now get 'ADSP initialization .... failed' 6 times. Then the module init continues. But when doing 'cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/tst.mpg' I get a 0 len file. I'm running 2.4.10 SMP. Does anyone have kfir under SMP working? BTW, I stripped my computer: I have kfir + AGP gfx only. kfir is on irq 10 by itself. In some PCI slots, the kfir module load locks up the machine hard. In others, it does not. PS: I'm using an Intel BX chipset motherboard with dual processors.
