[mpeg2] linux-2.6.9 & mpex -> no sound, again

Hi Andrew,
the old muting problem is "reloaded".
I have no sound with a (plain) 2.6.9. Do you have a hint or a solution?
BTW. Picture-syncing seem to be better than in the previous versions, 
because the idle running picture from my vdr, a monotone blue screen 
with one little symbol, is now getting synced correctly (used to running 
through in the previous versions)
