The Persistent Collective Communication Proposal, Ticket #25, ( https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-issues/issues/25), is ready for its next formal reading. Pull request #29 ( https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-standard/pull/29 ) documents this. Clarifications only have been made since the last meeting held in December in San Jose, the virtual meeting held by telecon on January 17, 2018, based on input from Rolf Rabenseifner, Rich Graham, and Martin Schulz, plus other small changes and clarifications the WG identified. This is notification in advance of the two-week deadline for the Portland meeting starting February 26, 2018.
