perhaps your mpi installation is different between the two environments. I'm
more used to seeing mpirun instead of mpiexec. experiment a bit starting there.

here is my command:
mpiformatdb -N 5 -i swissprot.fa
->I havent't got any problem with the mpiformatdb command.
mpiexec -np 10 mpiblast -p blastx -i cr626934.tfa -d swissprot.fa
->this is what i get for each np:
Sorry, mpiBLAST must be run on 3 or more nodes
Moreover, if i try this:
mpiexec -np 10 hostname
-> i've got no problem
Coule you help me please?
