Ahh, for --enable-gmlib on non-OSX there are no links from libgmpxx.so
to libmpirxx.so Ironically such links are created for the dylibs. I am
not so sure what is going on, but now it seems that on OSX we have
libgmp.dylib and libmpir.dylib as well as the matching xx libraries:
