Hi

Running the MPIR-benchmark(single threaded) on an Intel Atom 330 1.6Ghz Dual
Core SMT (4 threads) we get a benchmark of 1466 , after an hour or two of
tuning I have pushed the score up to 2092.

mpn_add_n was 8 cycles per limb , now 4 cycles
mpn_store was 4c/l now 1c/l
mpn_copy was 5c/l now 2c/l
lshift1 was 13.5c/l now 3.9c/l
addmul_1 was 26c/l now 21c/l

The above results can be improved with more effort and time and when we go
multithreaded then the above results could compare favorably with a low end
K8 or core2 , but with much lower power , so performance per watt could be
very good.

There is one other x86_64 chip that we have yet to test , the Via Nano , that
has some interesting features.

Jason
