For the release, I'd like to prepare a list of all functions which: 1) Were obsoleted long ago, which we have now removed
2) Which were already obsoleted in GMP and still obsoleted (but not yet removed) in MPIR 3) Which we have subsequently obsoleted, and a short explanation why, including any replacements we have provided Jason, you probably have the greatest knowledge of what has changed. Could you write this? I'll clean it up and put it on the website.
