I've just issued release candidate 4. This fixes a minor issue with versioning for Windows, discovered by Brian Gladman, and fixes a major segfault with exact division reported by Yves Gallot.
The main thing missing for a final release is some tuning for various 32 bit architectures. If you have a 32 bit machine running Linux and would like to volunteer to do some tuning for us please let us know. Note that the extended GCD does not normalise the same way as GMP 5.0.1. The plan is to fix this is a minor update (MPIR 2.0.1) in the next couple of weeks. Bill. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mpir-devel" group.
