Hi Brian,

My suggestion would be to release the VS 2010 build files as MPIR
2.1.0 when you receive the compiler. I think this is a significant
enough improvement to give it a new release number.

I don't think we will hold up MPIR 2.0.1 for that, because that is
really intended to be a quick service release mainly for Sage and Pari
users. It brings us a little more in line with full GMP interface
compliance.
