I am not having any problems accessing the GMP website via Warwick University.
At some time in the past there was a problem similar to what you are describing though. No one on campus could access gmplib.org from a machine with a campus IP address, but it was possible to access it from anywhere else (e.g. from home). Funnily enough our network administrator contacted *me* about this after some complaints were made, I guess assuming that I had something to do with GMP. A few years ago I stumbled upon something called an "evildoers list". This is a list of IP addresses that are known to be associated with spam. Some networking people probably block all IP addresses that find their way onto such a list, and just like a no fly list, innocent people surely end up having their IP addresses blocked. Here for example is a link to an organisation that maintains such a list: http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/ You may be able check if your IP address has erroneously ended up on such a list. Failing that I guess you could email KTH and ask their systems administrator to look into whether they are blocking you for some reason? Anyhow, as I said, no problems here at the moment and I don't recall having any problems recently. I will check from home tonight. Bill.
