Yes, MPIR works on VS 2012. The details of how to build MPIR on Windows
are given in the readme.txt in the mpir\build.vc11 directory (vc11 is
another name for Visual Studio 2012).

If you want to use the fast assembler files you will need to install
VSYASM in the VS 2012 binary directory at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\bin

(the readme.txt is out of date on this location).

The VS 2010 version of VSYASM will work on VS 2012 and is available here:
