Hi all, I've just fixes mpir so that it builds under msys2 on Windows, both 32 and 64 bit versions. N.B: make sure you use the msys2 shell and not the mingw shell when you've installed msys2.
I have written up-to-the-minute instructions here, giving a very simple description of how to install msys2 and mpir: https://github.com/wbhart/mpir/issues/155 Bill. P.S: you can build with recent mingw32 and mingw64, but currently the mpir test suite won't run due to the libtool wrappers being borked. I don't know whether I will bother to fix this or not.
