It was awesome, I really didn't know what to expect and it would of
sucked if 1200 people showed up.
Thankfully we filled it and as I write these words maybe Winona or Ralph
is speaking in Seattle. This morning blurry eyed I checked the paper
online, I thought the impossible, like the impossible I saw with my own
eyes just a couple of years ago with Jesse Ventura. That night I was at
Two Pines on highway 55, I had heard he was elected and I thought well,
as Michael Moore said last night we have a sense of humor here in
Minnesota. But that it has been achieved. And my hope is that we will
have more of a choice next time around, especially locally. But again I
was glad to be around so many like minded recovering democrats, that's
what it felt like farmer-labor with a new added bonus sustainable
economy and sustainable places for people to live.
Beyond what the papers report, this was started three weeks ago, the
organizing was outstanding.
I keep thinking there's dfl people out there that wish they had the
organizing that we have.
