Supporters of the Vote YES 4Kids referendum will be out in force this
Friday and Saturday, October 20th and 21st raking lawns and building
support for this Novembers school referendum.

Volunteers, along with students from Minneapolis Public schools who will
be
earning community service credit, will be raking lawns and filling
bright yellow Vote YES 4 Kids lawn bags all across the city. The only
obligation of the homeowner will be to display the lawnbags, and their
support for the referendum, through to the election.

The organizers of this effort are looking for homes in Minneapolis where

some assistance with raking could help the occupants. If you know of
elderly
or handicapped individuals or other families who could use a hand please

ask them to contact Andy McDonald at (651) 645-2433, or via e-mail at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Or, contact Andy if you would like to
be a
volunteer raker - the more the merrier!

Thanks!
