Well, many of us saw Chuck(ie) Knoblach both at the ball park and down on First Avenue. A hometown -wannabe-in-training, got his training in Minneapolis and tonight his work paid off - all his dues were paid back tonight. A subway series - New York and New York's (with New Jersey thrown in) way of having a neighborhood squabble. I certainly am not opposed to figuring out which neighborhood should host a ballpark - maybe I'm old fashioned but hanging out around an outdoor ballpark brings about lots of community spirit and memories for many of us - want some real baseball history go back to the Negro League Baseball in the early 20th century when it was a major form of entertainment - people wore suits (tuxes often) and the women dressed to the nine's in their jewels and all (like we all did for the Mayor's Inaugural). This dressing up - just to go to a baseball game. Remember it is about Mother, apple pie and baseball. Get out the vote - Nov. 7th.
