There is a mayor appointed committee of 17 Minneapolis citizens reviewing
the idea of a privately funded urban ballpark in Minneapolis. Three of
seven weekly symposiums have been completed. The symposiums are open and
the public is encouraged to attend. The next one is at International Market
Square at 7pm this Wednesday, October 25 and will feature three speakers:
John Marty, Ricky Rask, and Art Rolnick.
The entire process is being documented at an interactive website:
http://www.NewBallparkInc.org There is an online forum where the public
can post topics and debate new ballpark issues.
