compelled to comment on this thread. Flyers, posters and other bills
adhered to telephone poles are an insidious and ever-present form of
blight.
Most business owners I work with are only irritated by this form of
vandalism; they certainly do not view it terms of community-serving
information distribution - which can be accomplished in more
constructive
ways."

It's this pompous attitude that makes me want to puke. well, they test
my patience.
This neighborhood I've considered young and spontaneous and they
generally don't care or like myself appreciate the fact that someone can
disseminate information and in many cases counter propaganda, because
you and the likes of you would have us live in your exclusive world.
Where all the information is approved of and dissenters are exiled or
thrown in jail. And as a business I would be more concerned about all
the litter that's left behind after the good little consumers leave.
And yet trash is ALWAYS a problem. I saw someone rip down a flier and
throw it on the ground, I know this is hard to believe but I swear it's
truth. With my own eyes. How would we ever be able to communicate. Here
in northeast people have been able to put up these thought provoking
signs for a number of years. It's coming to an end with all the new
development. I guess that's the point though, right, you wouldn't want
people to think for themselves any more than to pick up the kids and
balance a checkbook.

What I happen to think is insidious is all the pollution on roads such
as Lyndale, all the many people who live on these city-highways. There's
the real threat.
