Catherine et al, My feeling is that it's up to Gore to contact Nader and make some kind of agreement, promise or covenant that Nader and/or his party will have some meaningful role in a Gore administration. Until that happens, and Nader calls for his supporters to vote for Gore, I don't see any reason to vote for Al. I resent, somewhat, the characterization that a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. If folks see things that way, I consider it their problem - "they just don't get it" and they're way out of touch with younger Democrats. Until Al does something worth my vote, I'm going to vote my conscience, which to vote is for Nader. The close election, and the debate over whom a vote for Nader is really "for" is an interesting topic. I'm not sure if our list manager will allow it without a Minneapolis spin however, so here's a spin: The disaffection with the Democratic party nationally, is also taking place within the city DFL. -- Dean Lindberg 5335 39th Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55417 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
