I understand the argument of what other nations do and I understand chit
chat with neighbors in line to vote.  But we shouldn't accept throwing out
even one ballot. Or discouraging one person not to vote because of our
process.  We should find a way to ensure that each voice is heard, no matter
that person's life situation.  Accepting anything else is resting on our
mediocre laurels. This is my same argument for a number of things that need
to change in Minneapolis.  We continue to believe that we're great, better
than the rest, and so many others are suffering worse than we are that we
should just accept things the way they are.  If our ancestors had done that
there wouldn't even be a Minneapolis.
