Well, it looks like I'm a law breaker. Might as well fine me now and get it
over with. I raked my leaves into the street the night before the city
street sweeper came by. So did all of my neighbors and we've been doing it
for years. I guess we figured it was fine as long as we were doing it in
conjunction with the city cleaning. It just seems easier to work with the
city street cleaners than to bag up the leaves and waste the plastic and the
human energy. I guess we thought the intent of the law was to prohibit
people from must dumping the leaves in the street and having them run down
the drain. Can we start an exception to the rule ???
