And these very Grand Rounds have received Federal Designation in the Scenic
Byways Program which has provided us with many amenities related to this
beautiful crown of jewels in our city. It has helped provide with
Informational Kiosks, maps, designtion points, a website and more. And the
Midtown Greenway was proposed as one of the connectors from the Lakes to
the River making it easier and shorter to stay on the Grand Rounds as is
the Humboldt Greenway a way to get from north to south through the
connections of the Grand Rounds.
So any other "grand boulevards" should be seen as connections and bridges
to our already existing Grand Round.
