Tim Bonham, referencing Tim Connolly's post and Carol Becker's critique,
notes:
* As this 'attack on Cherryhomes' is entirely an attack on her
* positions, I do not think it is a personal attack of the kind that is
* prohibited on this forum. (David can respond, if he wishes.)
Tim Connolly's critique of Cherryhomes was position-based, not personal.
Although the nausea line was pushing it, he's free to describe his physical
reactions as he wants. The "personal attack" rule mostly covers name-calling
of others, and Tim didn't do that.
Let's get back to discussing issues, not each other. As I have said many
times before, if you object to someone's tone, email me to inquire if it is
a rule violation, or email the offender directly - off-list - and tell them
how you feel. I appreciate the sincere attempts to keep the list on the
"high road," but as you can see, too much of this discussion on the list
soon overwhelms all other topics. Going through me, or directly to the
person you disagree with, keeps the list focused on the substance everyone
claims they want.
